Look What I Found

I was out at yard sales recently and came across this beauty.    He was on a table with a few junk pieces of jewelry when he caught my eye.   I will admit he was totally black from tarnish but I knew there was something good under there.   The price was right at $1.50.  I couldn't believe all the rhinestones when I clean him up.  He is about 7 inches long and has a block clasp that plugs into the mouth.  Two green rhinestones for  eyes with black enamel painted stripes just add to his appeal.   It was very hard to part with him but he sold very quickly and was very profitable on eBay.

I'm Back

Thank heaven it is spring at last.  Yard sales, garage sales, church bazaars, flea markets galore!!!   Yesterday I spent the morning in Riverdale because of community wide yard sale.  I must admit I got a late start but still found a few baubles worthy of the $5.00 I spent.   The top pin is an ART signed piece in perfect condition.  I bought from an elderly lady who said she got it many years ago.   I love it and almost hope it doesn't sell.  The bottom piece is a CORO signed piece with faux pearls and amber rhinestones.   Look for them on EBAY.
